1. Your Right to Delete Your Account
You have the right to request the deletion of your EarnHive account and associated personal data at any time, in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other relevant regulations.
We are committed to honoring your data privacy rights and providing a transparent, straightforward process for account deletion. This Account Deletion Policy explains what happens when you request deletion, what data is removed, what data is retained, and how to submit a deletion request.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all earnings, referral commissions, transaction history, and Platform features. Please review this policy carefully before requesting deletion.
2. How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your EarnHive account, please send an email to support@earnhive.app from the email address associated with your account. Include 'Account Deletion Request' in the subject line.

3. Identity Verification and Confirmation
Upon receiving your deletion request, we will verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate and prevent unauthorized account deletion. Verification may include:

4. What Data Gets Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following personal data and account information will be permanently deleted from our active systems:
- Profile information (name, username, email address, profile picture, display preferences)
- Account credentials (password hashes, authentication tokens, session data)
- Survey and offer interaction history (completed surveys, offers, timestamps, activity logs)
- Referral data (your referral code, list of users you referred, referral-specific statistics)
- Communication history (support tickets, feedback submissions, email correspondence)
- Device information (device fingerprints, IP addresses, browser data from recent sessions)
- Cryptocurrency wallet addresses (saved withdrawal addresses)
- Personal preferences (language settings, notification preferences, UI customization)
5. What Data Gets Retained
Certain data may be retained after account deletion for legal, regulatory, fraud prevention, or operational purposes, in accordance with applicable laws and our data retention obligations:
Retained data is anonymized or pseudonymized where possible to remove direct identifiers. We do not use retained data for marketing, personalization, or any purpose beyond the legal and operational reasons listed above.

- Financial transaction records (withdrawals, earnings, deposits) for 7 years to comply with tax, accounting, and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations
- Fraud detection logs (IP addresses, device fingerprints, VPN detection results) for 2 years to prevent repeat fraud and abuse
- Legal compliance records (identity verification documents, age verification) as required by law or regulatory obligations
- Aggregated and anonymized analytics data (platform usage statistics, feature adoption metrics) with all personal identifiers removed
- Records of Terms of Service violations, account bans, or fraud cases for security and abuse prevention
- Backups containing your data may persist for up to 90 days until backup rotation cycles complete, after which they are permanently deleted
6. Pending Balance and Withdrawal Handling
If your account has a pending balance (earned but not yet withdrawn), you must withdraw your balance before account deletion, or it will be forfeited.

7. Processing Timeline and Completion

Once deletion is complete, you will no longer be able to log in to your account, and all associated data (as described in Section 4) will be permanently removed from our active systems.

8. Account Reactivation and Re-Registration
Deleted accounts cannot be reactivated or restored. Account deletion is permanent, and all data is permanently removed in accordance with this policy.
If you wish to use EarnHive again after deleting your account, you must create a new account. You will need to:
You will not be able to recover your previous username, earnings history, referral relationships, or any other data from your deleted account. Your new account will be treated as a completely separate entity with no connection to your previous account.
If you were banned or terminated for Terms of Service violations, you are not permitted to create a new account. Any attempt to circumvent a ban by creating a new account will result in immediate termination of the new account.
